Job summary

ING seeks a Senior Global HR Strategy & Workforce Planning Consultant to shape enterprise workforce strategy and translate ambitions into actionable plans. You will partner with senior leaders to anticipate changes, identify risks, and develop scenarios and roadmaps across global functions.

You will combine strategic thinking, analytics and consulting expertise to influence decisions and foster workforce effectiveness within a complex international matrix.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing workforce, people or business strategies in a complex international matrix organization.
• Strong consulting skills, including problem structuring, hypothesis-driven analysis and executive recommendation development.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
• Experience translating data and analytics into actionable business decisions.
• Strong understanding of organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and talent strategy.
• Ability to operate effectively in highly ambiguous and changing environments.
• Collaborative mindset, willingness to share your knowledge and learn from others.
• 6-10 years of substantial work experience together with comprehensive job related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives across global functions and business domains.
• Advise senior stakeholders on workforce implications of strategic priorities, business transformations and emerging industry trends.
• Diagnose workforce challenges through quantitative and qualitative analysis and identify root causes and strategic implications.
• Develop workforce strategies, future workforce scenarios and capability roadmaps.
• Design and facilitate executive workshops on workforce strategy, talent risks and organizational effectiveness.
• Translate complex workforce and organizational data into clear recommendations for executive decision making.
• Design and lead workforce planning methodologies, frameworks and governance improvements.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives involving HR, Finance, Strategy and Business stakeholders.
• Identify workforce opportunities and risks related to technology, AI, automation, regulation and market developments.
• Influence strategic decisions through evidence-based consultancy and thought leadership.
• Coach and support HR and business stakeholders in adopting workforce planning practices and tools.
