Job summary

ING’s Group Sustainability Integration & Implementation team is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to lead the integration and implementation of climate, nature, and human rights topics across ING’s global businesses and functions. You will drive regulatory alignment for disclosures and work with internal teams to translate external requirements into practical actions.

• Master’s degree (e.g. Environmental/Climate Science, Sustainability, Finance, Strategy, Business)

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives for Group Sustainability on identifying opportunities and focus areas of ING’s sustainability strategy
• Lead initiatives on analysing regulatory requirements and impact assessment, remedial plans and external disclosures
• Identify opportunities and risks in emerging technologies to accelerate ESG transition and support implementation
• Support the business in financing opportunities to accelerate climate and nature transition
• Lead benchmarking across markets and peers to improve transparency and comparability
• Prepare materials for senior committees and engage with senior stakeholders for input and review
• Lead internal and external working groups and industry coalitions and represent ING externally
• Share expertise on sustainability topics with stakeholders across ING’s sectors and regions
• Provide clear, well-structured responses to internal and external stakeholders
