Job summary

ING's Strategy & Excellence team in Global Procurement is seeking a Lead Strategy & Vision to steer major initiatives across Procurement, partnering with the Global CPO and senior stakeholders to shape the strategic agenda.

You will govern transformation programs, manage complex projects, drive change adoption, and provide strategic guidance to management while promoting category management and data-driven decision making in a truly global, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably Master’s level.
• More than 8 years in transformation and change management.
• Proven procurement experience in a large international financial services company.
• Experience in a global environment with offshore teams.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.
• Strong project and program management capabilities.
• Strategic mindset balancing long-term vision with execution.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern major strategic initiatives and transformation programs across Procurement.
• Manage complex projects and workstreams, coordinating dependencies and alignment.
• Drive change adoption through structured change management approaches.
• Independently lead high-impact strategic initiatives and deliver results.
• Guide and influence multiple teams and stakeholders across boundaries.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to management and senior leaders.
• Support Category Management in developing and executing category strategies.
• Shape Procurement’s data and reporting strategy to enable decision-making.
