Job summary

Vanderlande seeks a Global HR Compliance Specialist to safeguard HR governance, data handling, and regulatory alignment across North America, EMEA and APAC. You translate complex regulations into practical standards embedded in daily operations, partnering with Legal, Privacy and HR Technology to drive a compliant, trusted HR service.

You will identify risks, drive accountability, and support audits, with a pragmatic, business-focused approach to enable better decisions and resilient HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years in HR compliance, employment law, governance or HR operations in international org.
• Proven track record building a compliance or control framework from scratch.
• Knowledge of employment law and GDPR; ability to work with local counsel.
• Experience with internal/external audits from evidence gathering to remediation.
• Experience with Workday or comparable HR systems in a matrix org.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the global HR compliance framework.
• Design and run a recurring control/testing cycle for HR processes and data.
• Track regulatory changes and translate into clear requirements.
• Safeguard lawful handling of employee data across HR tech landscape.
• Act as HR point of contact for internal/external audits.
• Advise HR leaders; coordinate audits; contribute to global HR transformation.
