Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Venlo is seeking a Control Tower Specialist to oversee international shipments and ensure on-time delivery. You will work with the European Control Tower, develop relationships with customers, and support they get the best service through effective problem solving.

Qualifications

• experience in logistics/transport, with a hands-on approach to solving customer challenges

• strong social skills, a sense of humour, and the confidence to pick up the phone and act immediately
• excellent command of Dutch and English, clear and professional communication with customers and colleagues worldwide

Responsibilities

• prepare reports and process logistics administration in our system, keep data complete and up to date
• handle customer complaints and claims, find and follow up on solutions quickly
• identify deviations in processes, analyse root causes, resolve issues immediately
• develop customer relationships and identify business opportunities
• maintain close contact with planning, sales, and cross-dock to ensure alignment and efficient processes
