Job summary

Sia Partners is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy GenAI applications that teams can use in daily workflows. You’ll balance client needs with practical deployments, building agents, RAG pipelines, and prompt frameworks.

You’ll work at the intersection of Data Science, ML/Platform Engineering, and client delivery, crafting scalable AI solutions with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and model stacks. Hybrid work from Amsterdam enables collaboration with leading tech partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, AI, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience; recent graduates with solid LLM projects encouraged.
• Experience with LLMs, prompting, RAG, and basic agent workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and API integration.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Dutch and English language skills; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on client sites learning how teams operate and where AI can help.
• Scope and build LLM-based solutions under guidance: RAG pipelines, tool-using agents, workflows.
• Connect solutions to APIs, databases, and business tools using established patterns.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, EU AI Act, and model licenses in projects.
• Prepare documentation, support training, and gather user feedback.
• Report progress clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
