Job summary

Novotel Amsterdam City seeks an Assistant Front Office Manager to act as the right hand to the Front Office Manager, Shiani. You will co-lead the Front Office team, motivating, inspiring, and coaching colleagues to deliver an unforgettable guest experience and continually seek improvements.

The hotel operates 610 rooms with a 25-member Front Office team and frequent front-of-house presence. You will participate in recruitment, scheduling, training, and projects such as upselling and membership

Qualifications

• Completed an MBO/HBO education, preferably from a Hotel School.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in Rooms.
• Able to motivate the team and provide constructive feedback.
• Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Office team and motivate colleagues.
• Assist in personnel management, scheduling and recruitment.
• Drive upselling and membership acquisition initiatives.
• Address guest complaints to prevent recurrence.
