Job summary

Utrecht City Concepts seeks a Front Office Lead for Malie House in Utrecht. You will oversee the Front Office and Service team, ensuring guests receive a hospitable and efficient journey and supporting the Front of House Manager.

You lead, train, and motivate the team, organize daily operations, handle reservations and payments, and collaborate with Housekeeping to guarantee seamless service while maintaining hotel standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO level 4 / HBO hotel/hospitality education.
• 1-2 years of experience behind the Front Office as a senior employee.
• Communicatively skilled in Dutch and English; additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Office and Service team to deliver hospitable and efficient guest journeys.
• Guide, train, and motivate Front Office and F&B staff; support interns and colleagues.
• Oversee daily reception operations and breakfast standards; assist with short-term scheduling.
• Ensure accurate administration: reservations, payments, and month-end handover.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping to maintain hotel standards and a seamless guest experience.
• Conduct regular quality checks of Front of House areas and rooms.
