Conscious Hotels Vondelpark in Amsterdam is seeking a Front Office Host who doubles as a barista to welcome guests with a smile and provide local tips. You handle check-ins, assist with self check-in, and enjoy selling bike rentals and sustainable goodies.

Qualifications

• Nice full-time job sought with front office host duties.
• Front office host and barista multitasking with a smile.
• Hospitality is in your DNA and you tailor service to guests.
• Experience in (international) hotels or hospitality preferred.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent English; Dutch a nice bonus.
• Live in Amsterdam; team player who can work independently.
• Experience with complaint handling; HACCP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

During your shift, you are the shining face of the hotel. You take care of everything: checking in guests, helping with the self check-in system, giving the best Amsterdam tips, and effortlessly selling a bike rental or sustainable goodies. You love chatting with guests, making a perfect coffee (or tea), and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. Here, the front desk isn’t the only place you shine – you also froth milk like a pro.

Job requirements and personal qualities:

• You are looking for a nice fulltime job;
• Front office host and barista in one – now that’s multitasking with a smile;
• Hospitality is in your DNA – you can sense exactly what a guest needs;
• Ideally, you have experience in (international) hotels or the hospitality industry – to provide the best service for our guests;
• Flexible availability – Including weekends and holidays;
• You speak fluent English. If you also speak Dutch, that’s a nice bonus;
• You live in Amsterdam;
• You are a team player but also work well independently;
• Experience with complaint handling and knowledge of HACCP is a plus.
