Job summary

Conscious Hotels Vondelpark is seeking a Front Office Host for a part-time, on-call role on a zero-hours contract. You will check in guests, operate the self-check-in system, and share top Amsterdam tips.

Mixing front desk duties with barista tasks, you’ll greet guests warmly, brew coffee, and ensure everyone leaves with a smile. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a bonus. You live in Amsterdam and enjoy working as part of Conscious Hotels Vondelpark team.

Qualifications

Vondelpark is looking for a Front Office Host (part-time job on a zero-hours contract).

During your shift, you are the shining face of the hotel. You take care of everything: checking in guests, helping with the self check-in system, giving the best Amsterdam tips, and effortlessly selling a bike rental or sustainable goodies. You love chatting with guests, making a perfect coffee (or tea), and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. Here, the front desk isn't the only place you shine - you also froth milk like a pro.

Job requirements and personal qualities:

• You are looking for a fun part-time job on an on-call basis (zero-hours contract);

• Front office host and barista in one - now that's multitasking with a smile;

• Hospitality is in your DNA - you can sense exactly what a guest needs;

• Ideally, you have experience in (international) hotels or the hospitality industry - to provide the best service for our guests;

• Flexible availability - Including weekends and holidays;

• You speak fluent English. If you also speak Dutch, that's a nice bonus;

• You live in Amsterdam;

• You are a team player but also work well independently;

• Experience with complaint handling and knowledge of HACCP is a plus.
