Job summary

Conscious Hotels The Tire Station in Amsterdam is seeking a friendly Front Office Host for a part-time role. You will check guests in, guide them with local tips, and seamlessly upsell bike rentals and sustainable goodies while crafting great coffee.

Fluent English is required, Dutch a plus. You will work independently yet be a strong team player in a lively, guest-focused environment at one of Amsterdam's most fun spots.

Qualifications

• Front desk and barista multitasking in hospitality environments.
• Strong customer service mindset with guest focus.
• Experience in hospitality is preferred for seamless service.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Residence in Amsterdam is expected.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Experience with complaint handling and HACCP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in guests and assist with self check-in and check-out.

The Tire Station is looking for a Front Office Host (parttime).

During your shift, you are the shining face of the hotel. You take care of everything: checking in guests, helping with the self check-in system, giving the best Amsterdam tips, and effortlessly selling a bike rental or sustainable goodies. You love chatting with guests, making a perfect coffee (or tea), and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. Here, the front desk isn’t the only place you shine – you also froth milk like a pro.

Job requirements and personal qualities:

• You are looking for a nice parttime job;

• Front office host and barista in one – now that’s multitasking with a smile;

• Hospitality is in your DNA – you can sense exactly what a guest needs;

• Ideally, you have experience in (international) hotels or the hospitality industry – to provide the best service for our guests;

• Flexible availability – Including weekends and holidays;

• You speak fluent English. If you also speak Dutch, that’s a nice bonus;

• You live in Amsterdam;

• You are a team player but also work well independently;

• Experience with complaint handling and knowledge of HACCP is a plus.
