Conscious Hotels Vondelpark in Amsterdam zoekt een enthousiaste Front Office Host (deeltijds) om gasten in te checken, self-check-in te begeleiden, en met persoonlijke tips bij te dragen aan een onvergetelijk verblijf.

Je combineert hospitality met barista-werk, verzorgt koffie en zorgt voor een glimlach bij elke gast. Flexibele beschikbaarheid, inclusief weekenden en vakanties, is vereist en teamwork is essentieel.

Qualifications

• Parttime availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Front office host and barista multitasking with a smile.
• Hospitality-focused with guest needs intuition.
• Experience in (international) hotels or hospitality preferred.
• Fluent English; Dutch language skills a plus.
• Lives in Amsterdam.
• Team player but able to work independently.
• Experience with complaint handling; HACCP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check-in guests and assist with self-check-in.
• Provide local Amsterdam tips and upsell bike rentals or sustainable products.
• Prepare coffee/tea and maintain barista standards.
• Engage guests with friendly conversation and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle late check-ins and desk-side queries; support bar area as needed.

Vondelpark is looking for a Front Office Host (parttime).

During your shift, you are the shining face of the hotel. You take care of everything: checking in guests, helping with the self check-in system, giving the best Amsterdam tips, and effortlessly selling a bike rental or sustainable goodies. You love chatting with guests, making a perfect coffee (or tea), and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. Here, the front desk isn't the only place you shine - you also froth milk like a pro.

Job requirements and personal qualities:

• You are looking for a nice parttime job;
• Front office host and barista in one - now that's multitasking with a smile;
• Hospitality is in your DNA - you can sense exactly what a guest needs;
• Ideally, you have experience in (international) hotels or the hospitality industry - to provide the best service for our guests;
• Flexible availability - Including weekends and holidays;
• You speak fluent English. If you also speak Dutch, that's a nice bonus;
• You live in Amsterdam;
• You are a team player but also work well independently;
• Experience with complaint handling and knowledge of HACCP is a plus.
