Job summary

Conscious Hotels is seeking a front desk team member in Amsterdam to manage reservations, welcome guests, and ensure they feel at home. You will balance administrative tasks with guest interactions, providing local recommendations and handling special requests with a smile.

The role emphasizes flexibility, English fluency, and a positive attitude, with PMS knowledge considered an advantage in a dynamic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Flexibility, including weekends and mornings.
• Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language preferred.
• Positive and cheerful demeanor.
• Knowledge of reservations system PMS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservations and guest check-ins/outs.

About the job

You are as organised as it gets and you enjoy managing different tasks at once. As a front desk employee, you're the face of the hotel. You take care of reservations, welcome the guests and make sure they feel at home. Aside from administrative tasks, you inform the guests of the best pizza places and wine bars in town. With a smile on your face, you make sure everything runs smoothly. Bowl of red M&M’s, a framed photo of Nicolas Cage or a treadmill? You decide which bizarre requests you do or do not grant.

About you

• Flexibility, also on weekends and mornings;

• Minimum 1 year of experience (preferably in a hotel);

• Fluent in English and preferably Dutch;

• You are positive and cheerful;

• Knowledge of reservations system PMS is an advantage.
