Job summary

MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam Amstel is hiring a Reception Supervisor to lead the front desk and ensure a memorable guest experience. You will supervise reception operations, manage invoicing and scheduling, and uphold MEININGER quality standards across shifts.

The role requires 2+ years in hospitality, strong communication, and a collaborative approach. English fluency is essential; other languages are advantageous. This is a full-time on-site position at Amsterdam Amstel.

Qualifications

• You have 2+ years of hospitality experience and enjoy a bustling environment.
• You are a people person who leads and develops a front-office team.
• Good knowledge of a front office system (ASSD, Fidelio, SIHOT).
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage smooth operations of the reception team and deliver excellent guest service.
• Handle operational/administrative tasks: invoicing, hour registration, online reputation checks.
• Act as a great host to ensure a memorable stay for guests.
• Maintain MEININGER quality standards in your area and lead front-of-house with the Assistant Hotel Manager.
• Work flexible shifts across days, evenings, weekends and nights.
