MEININGER Hotels Amsterdam City West offers a welcoming opportunity for a night-owl host to join our front office team in Amsterdam. You will oversee reception operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold MEININGER quality standards while guiding night shift receptionists and supporting the Assistant Hotel Manager.

You will thrive in a dynamic, international environment, working flexible weekday/weekend night shifts. Strong English communication and a guest-centric mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• You possess initial experience and are passionate about hospitality.
• You possess an outgoing personality and enjoy working in a bustling dynamic environment.
• You are a people person, you like helping others and creating unforgettable experience for our guests.
• You are a team player, ready to help colleagues and tackle challenges together.
• You have knowledge of front office systems (e.g. ASSD, Fidelio, SIHOT).
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• You oversee the smooth operations of the reception team and provide great customer service to our guests.
• You ensure that all customer service standards are met and that all guests have a positive experience.
• You are responsible for maintaining MEININGER quality standards in your area.
• You lead by example a team of night shift receptionists together with your Assistant Hotel Manager.
• You enjoy a diverse working environment and are flexible to work weekdays, weekends and night shifts.
• You set goals for performance and deadlines in line with the company's vision, mission and values.
• You manage time effectively and submit performance according to the schedule.
• You monitor productivity and provide feedback and coaching per company policy.
• You are analytical and have a problem-solving mindset.
• You are a team player, ensuring daily front office operations run smoothly with motivation and support.
