Job summary

Oceanco, based in the Netherlands with Alblasserdam and/or Zwijndrecht facilities, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead fleet support activities for custom-built yachts. You will own commercial and operational delivery, coordinate co-makers, and ensure high client satisfaction across projects.

Requirements include a Master’s or Bachelor’s in marine/mechanical engineering and at least five years in yacht project management, with strong stakeholder and risk management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of proven project management experience in shipbuilding or yacht building.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with project management/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary owner for fleet support activities including commercial and operational delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary work scopes: additional work, warranty, refits, and spare parts.
• Prepare proposals with cost calculations, planning, risk analysis, and scope demarcation.
• Lead and manage fleet support projects worldwide, ensuring timely resources and services delivery.
• Build relationships with owners, internal teams, and co-makers for continuity and new opportunities.
• Communicate progress, risks, and financials through regular reporting to stakeholders.
