Job summary

Oceanco, based in the Netherlands with facilities in Alblasserdam and Zwijndrecht, seeks a senior facilities leader to deliver safe, efficient and compliant facility services across sites. You will manage planning, budgeting, and large capex projects while leading a team in a highly regulated maritime context.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in similar facilities roles, and fluency in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' proven leadership and facility management experience in a structural engineering environment, preferably maritime.
• HBO/Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Strong budget, planning, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual and long-term facility plans aligned with company strategy.
• Own facility budget: forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
• Lead and develop a team in line with HR policies.
• Promote continuous improvement of facility processes and ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Manage contracts and SLA's with service providers and oversee inspections, certifications, and permit renewals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and liaise with external authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Deliver accurate and timely reports on performance, budgets, risks, and opportunities.
