Job summary
Oceanco, based in the Netherlands at our Alblasserdam facility, is seeking an Engineering Coordinator for Electrical & Automation. You will realise engineering output and documentation in time for the assigned discipline, reporting to the Project Manager Engineering.
You will supervise document availability, develop schedules, coordinate with authorities, owners representatives, designers and subcontractors, and lead a team of in-house professionals toward timely project completion.
Qualifications
- HBO / Bachelor's degree related to the discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in ship/superyacht building industry.
- Proven knowledge in Electrical & Automation discipline.
- Experience leading and developing engineering teams.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and/or Rhinoceros.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure availability of all engineering documents for Electrical & Automation.
- Develop detailed planning and delivery schedule for engineering documentation; liaise with manager, authorities, designers and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely and accurate information flow internally and externally.
