Job summary

Maersk in Rotterdam is seeking a FCL MOF/LCL Operations Associate to manage end-to-end shipment processes for FCL and LCL across Benelux. You will monitor orders, respond to customers via email, phone or chat, and be the primary face of Maersk for client relationships.

The role requires experience in shipping and logistics, a proactive approach to customer service, and the ability to work independently or in a team. A hybrid work setup with some home days is offered.

Key Responsibilities

• As our FCL and LCL Operations Associate - Benelux, you will be responsible for a smooth end to end shipment process, both import and export.
• You will monitor all outgoing and incoming Ocean transport orders for your assigned customers, answering customer requests via email, by phone or chat.
• Be the first point of contact for our customers which makes you the face (or voice) of the company.
• You like to go the extra mile to make our customers happy and build strong relationship with them.
• Preparation of transport and customs documents.
• Finding out-of-the box solutions that improve the supply chain of your customers.
• Financial handling of shipments.
