Job summary

Maersk in the Benelux region is seeking an LCL Operation Agent FCL MOF/LCL Operations Associate to oversee end-to-end shipment processes, both imports and exports, and to monitor Ocean transport orders for assigned customers.

You will be the first point of contact, provide proactive service, support digitalization initiatives, and work in a team with a customer-focused mindset. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with full-time availability and a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

Within shipping and logistics pro-active communication and information flow towards our customers is the key in ensuring transparency end-to-end.

• As our FCL and LCL Operations Associate - Benelux, you will be responsible for a smooth end to end shipment process, both import and export.
• You will monitor all outgoing and incoming Ocean transport orders for your assigned customers, answering customer requests via email, by phone or chat.
• Be the first point of contact for our customers which makes you the face (or voice) of the company.
• You like to go the extra mile to make our customers happy and build strong relationship with them.
• Preparation of transport and customs documents.
• Finding out-of-the box solutions that improve the supply chain of your customers.
• Financial handling of shipments.

• You have experience within the shipping and logistics industry (especially Ocean business) and Incoterms don't scare you.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
