Job summary

Maersk is seeking an FCL MOF/LCL Operations Associate for the Benelux region. You will manage end-to-end shipments (import and export) and monitor all ocean transport orders.

You will be the main contact for customers, building strong relationships and driving improvements in customer service. You will prepare transport and customs documents, explore innovative solutions to enhance supply chains, and handle the financial aspects of shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and logistics, especially Ocean business.
• Familiarity with Incoterms.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth end-to-end shipment process for FCL and LCL, import and export.
• Monitor all outgoing and incoming Ocean transport orders; respond to customer requests by email, phone or chat.
• Be the first point of contact for customers; be the face (or voice) of Maersk.
• Prepare transport and customs documents.
• Find out-of-the-box solutions to improve the customer supply chain.
• Handle shipment finances.

Key responsibilities

Within shipping and logistics pro‑active communication and information flow towards our customers is the key in ensuring transparency end‑to‑end.

• As our FCL and LCL Operations Associate - Benelux, you will be responsible for a smooth end to end shipment process, both import and export.
• You will monitor all outgoing and incoming Ocean transport orders for your assigned customers, answering customer requests via email, by phone or chat.
• Be the first point of contact for our customers which makes you the face (or voice) of the company.
• You like to go the extra mile to make our customers happy and build strong relationship with them.
• Preparation of transport and customs documents.
• Finding out-of-the box solutions that improve the supply chain of your customers.
• Financial handling of shipments.
