Job summary

Maersk is seeking an FCL and LCL Operations Associate for Benelux to manage end-to-end shipment processes, export and import, and to communicate with customers across email, phone and chat. You will monitor orders and ensure timely, accurate information flow, acting as the face of Maersk for clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth end-to-end shipment process for imports and exports.
• Monitor outgoing and incoming Ocean transport orders for assigned customers; respond via email, phone, or chat.
• Be the first point of contact for customers; be the face/voice of Maersk.
• Go the extra mile to make customers happy and build strong relationships.
• Prepare transport and customs documents.
• Identify out-of-the-box solutions to improve customer supply chains.
• Handle financial aspects of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

Within shipping and logistics pro-active communication and information flow towards our customers is the key in ensuring transparency end-to-end.

• As our FCL and LCL Operations Associate - Benelux, you will be responsible for a smooth end to end shipment process, both import and export.
• You will monitor all outgoing and incoming Ocean transport orders for your assigned customers, answering customer requests via email, by phone or chat.
• Be the first point of contact for our customers which makes you the face (or voice) of the company.
• You like to go the extra mile to make our customers happy and build strong relationship with them.
• Preparation of transport and customs documents.
• Finding out-of-the box solutions that improve the supply chain of your customers.
• Financial handling of shipments.
