Job summary

Maersk is seeking a proactive professional to connect cargo from water to customers’ facilities, coordinating inland transport and container movements.

You will manage service orders, monitor status, and collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve incidents while controlling costs. The role requires experience in inland transport and a strong operational mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in inland transportation and containerized logistics operations.
• Knowledge of local trucking operations, depot movements, and transportation regulations.
• Understanding of truck configurations, weight restrictions, and applicable transportation standards.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Strong operational mindset, excellent follow-up skills, and the ability to manage high-volume operations in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and tracking transportation services from assignment through completion.
• Managing service orders, delivery follow-up, and empty container returns.
• Monitoring operational status updates and resolving transportation incidents.
• Controlling extraordinary costs and managing supplier performance deviations.
