Job summary

Hilton Rotterdam is looking for an F&B Shiftleader for Restaurant JAQ to lead the evening service and ensure flawless setup while maintaining the warm, relaxed ambiance JAQ is known for.

You will coach and motivate the team, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and support the Venue Manager to uphold Hilton standards. The role requires flexibility, strong leadership, and guest‑focused service in a busy dining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B or hospitality with supervisory or senior waiter experience.
• Strong communication and leadership; able to motivate others.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and other languages a plus.
• Willing to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Guest-focused with attention to detail.
• Calm, proactive problem solver under pressure.
• Basic food safety knowledge; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the evening operation at Restaurant JAQ.
• Ensure setup is flawless and guide the service team on the floor.
• Maintain the warm, relaxed JAQ atmosphere and Hilton standards.
• Coach and motivate the team; handle guest feedback with care.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar and support the Venue Manager.
