Job summary

The Social Hub in Maastricht is seeking an F&B Supervisor to guide the front-of-house team during service, maintain high energy and guest satisfaction, and support the Front Office when needed.

You will train new team members, coordinate with the kitchen and bar, and help ensure smooth daily operations across both F&B and Front Office. Fluent English and Dutch required, with extra languages a bonus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a senior waiter, barista or bartender role.
• Strong leadership during service.
• Clear communication, stays calm under pressure.
• Eye for detail and consistent service.
• Genuine hospitality energy and guest-facing attitude.
• Works well with different teams and leads by example.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; extra languages a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-of-house team during service and set a positive, upbeat tone.
• Guide your crew on the floor, helping them solve small issues in the moment.
• Support training and onboarding for new team members.
• Keep daily operations smooth by checking setups, stock, cleanliness and safety.
• Stay present on the floor, chat with guests and jump in where needed.
• Handle transactions accurately and pass on any irregularities.
• Share targets for the shift and motivate the team to reach them.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing.
• Support Front Office operations when needed, including answering questions and taking responsibility for Front Office during your shift.
• Be willing to learn key processes of both F&B and Front Office and flex between departments as needed.
