Aceve is seeking a Payroll Expert to lead end-to-end payroll in multiple European countries, with a strong focus on the Netherlands. You will ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll operations, acting as the go-to expert on local regulations and data integrity.

You will work with Finance, HRBPs and external vendors, maintain records in HiBob, and contribute to scalable payroll models as Aceve grows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll experience in a multi-country European context
• Knowledge of payroll legislation in two or more Aceve countries (NL, SE, DK, NO, FI, DE, BE, PT)
• Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Ability to work independently and flag risks proactively
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end payroll operations across all Aceve countries
• Manage payroll changes, validations and month-end audits
• Ensure compliance with local employment law and tax regulations per country
• Maintain accurate employee records in HiBob relevant to payroll
• Act as primary contact for payroll vendors and local payroll partners
• Support the annual compensation review cycle from a payroll perspective
• Document payroll processes and build backup ownership across the team
• Identify and implement improvements to payroll accuracy and efficiency
• Support onboarding of new countries or entities from a payroll setup perspective
