Job summary

LumiQ Solutions in Amsterdam is seeking an International Payroll Manager to own payroll across Europe and coordinate with US teams and external providers.

The role focuses on Netherlands payroll and expanding UK/Italy coverage, delivering accurate monthly payroll with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach. It offers on-site work four days a week and room to shape scalable processes as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, ideally in international environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Netherlands payroll.
• Exposure to UK and/or Italian payroll desirable.
• Experience managing multi-entity and multi-country payrolls.
• Experience with external payroll providers and ADP solutions.
• Payroll implementation, migration or process improvement experience is advantageous.
• Solid payroll controls, reconciliations and compliance understanding.
• Hands-on, accountable, and detail-oriented mindset.

International Payroll Manager – Amsterdam

We are working with a large, multi-billion-dollar US organisation that is continuing to expand its European operations and is looking for an experienced payroll professional to join its Amsterdam team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking genuine ownership of payroll rather than simply managing it from a distance. You’ll work closely with colleagues in the US and external payroll partners, taking responsibility for accurate and timely payroll delivery across multiple European entities.

The initial focus will include the Netherlands, UK and Italy, with the Netherlands forming a key part of the remit. You’ll be joining at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to help shape processes and build a scalable payroll operation as the European business develops.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ payroll experience, ideally within an international environment
• Strong hands-on Netherlands payroll knowledge
• Exposure to UK and/or Italian payroll
• Experience managing multi-entity and multi-country payrolls
• Comfortable working directly with external payroll providers
• Experience with ADP payroll solutions, ideally ADP Celergo / Global Payroll
• Payroll implementation, migration or process-improvement experience would be highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations and compliance
• Someone who genuinely enjoys being hands-on, accountable and close to the detail

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Amsterdam, working four days per week onsite.
