Job summary

Oyster is seeking a seasoned Dutch payroll expert to own the end-to-end Dutch payroll process from our Netherlands hub. You will configure and maintain in-house payroll workflows using AFAS,Nmbrs by Visma and Loket.nl, ensuring compliance and timely payslips.

The role requires strong Dutch wage tax knowledge, 5+ years of in-house payroll, and excellent stakeholder collaboration. You will partner with Product and Finance to drive automation, scale payroll operations, and mentor junior colleagues

Qualifications

• 5+ years running native Dutch payroll in-house.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch wage tax and social insurance.
• Experience with Afas/Nmbrs and Loket.nl in a scaling payroll function.
• Fluent Dutch (C1/C2) and English for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Dutch payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee master data validation for hires, changes and terminations.
• Lead payroll controls, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
