Job summary

Salesforce, a leading enterprise software company, seeks an ECS Account Executive for the Netherlands local government sector. You will drive new business and expand existing accounts across municipalities and provincial bodies, supported by a collaborative sales model and strong resources.

You will build relationships with senior stakeholders, articulate ROI-based value, and close complex deals. A proven track record in enterprise sales and knowledge of the Dutch public sector are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience selling enterprise software solutions.
• Proven track record of securing new business and meeting/exceeding targets.
• Skilled in managing complex sales cycles and closing high-impact deals.
• Passionate about working with local government in the Netherlands, with understanding of regulatory landscape.
• Comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.
• Experience selling business applications or within the Dutch local government vertical is highly valued.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by selling the Salesforce portfolio to Dutch local government accounts.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close with a focus on new business and account expansion.
• Identify key accounts and government verticals to develop targeted go-to-market strategies.
• Build a strong pipeline through outbound activities and local government insights.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide weekly forecasts and revenue reporting.
