Job summary

sennder GmbH is seeking an Operations Manager for Amsterdam to lead account operations on-site. You will own daily transport operations, build strong client relationships, and drive performance through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Dutch language proficiency required; strong English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in dynamic operational environments, with people management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily business and follow up on customers’ transport operations.
• Establish and proactively maintain relationships with day-to-day contacts and management-level contacts.
• Gather, analyze, and prepare information for business reviews; participate in them.
• Handle, and where needed, push back on operational and local management stakeholders for the account.
• Step into hands-on operational work when needed while managing direct reports and team.
• Keep a strategic overview of the account, delegating tasks and building efficient processes.
• Translate data into concrete actions and hold the team accountable for performance.
• Maintain team morale and culture towards growth and excellence.
