Job summary

sennder, Amsterdam's Office, is seeking a Manager Operations for our Dutch-speaking account team. This on-site role focuses on ownership of account operations and commercial outcomes, leading a team to deliver top-tier service for our largest customer, while maintaining strategic oversight and hands-on involvement.

The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years in dynamic operations, fluent Dutch and English, and a true player-coach mindset to drive growth and excellence across the team and client

Qualifications

• Dutch language required with English verbal and written skills.
• 3–5 years in dynamic operational environments, with people management experience.
• Logistics/supply chain experience preferred or strong cross-industry background welcomed.
• Proven ability to build and sustain strong customer relationships and push back when needed.
• True player-coach mindset: hands-on operations plus strategic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transport operations and follow up on status.
• Establish and maintain relationships with day-to-day and management contacts.
• Gather, analyze and prepare information for business reviews.
• Push back on operational stakeholders when the account’s interests require it.
• Step into hands-on work when needed while managing direct reports and building processes.
• Delegate tasks to the team and translate data into action plans.
• Lead performance through data-driven insights and maintain team morale.
