Job summary

sennder is seeking an Operations Manager for the Amsterdam office. The role is 100% onsite and focuses on account and commercial ownership, team leadership, and ongoing operational excellence.

You will manage daily transport operations, build relationships with client contacts, and drive performance using data-driven insights. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in dynamic operational environments, strong leadership, and fluency in Dutch and English to communicate across a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience leading teams in dynamic environments.
• Ability to build and sustain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own account and commercial activities for the largest customers, ensuring daily transport operations run smoothly.
• Develop and maintain relationships with day-to-day and management contacts inside and outside the organization.
• Analyze information for business reviews and actively participate in reviews.
• Lead, coach and support the team, escalate when needed and drive operational excellence.
