Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and software development.
• Deep understanding of modern data architectures and the ability to design scalable, maintainable, and future-proof solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, including designing and deploying cloud-native data solutions.
• Proficient in key technologies such as DBT, Python, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Databricks, Go, and SQL.
• Demonstrated expertise in optimizing performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of data pipelines and analytics workloads.
• Experience architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines, building robust scrapers, automation scripts, and IaC templates.
• A passion for navigating complex environments with proactive problem solving.
• Strong architectural vision and ability to contribute to the technical roadmap.
• Proven track record of coaching and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to translate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end development of our data platform built on Databricks & Kubernetes.
• Integrate new data sources (test automation results, deployments, vulnerabilities).
• Utilize data sources to develop accurate and reliable metrics through automated processes.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a scalable data platform architecture on Azure.
• Be part of the larger enablement community and help improve daily workflows.
• Work with an open-source and self-built mentality in a corporate environment: inner-sourcing.
