Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in the Benelux region is seeking a Data Center Strategic Account Manager to drive growth with key data center stakeholders, including hyperscalers and colocation operators.

You will develop executive relationships and execute strategic account plans to expand opportunities across the portfolio. You will collaborate with regional data center teams, sales, engineering, and operations to ensure successful project outcomes, while leveraging Salesforce and Altify for account

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, or related discipline.
• Proven success in technical, solution-based, or consultative B2B sales.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets while managing complex customer relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence decision-making at multiple organizational levels.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a matrix organization.
• Fluent English, Dutch and (preferred) French language skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across the Benelux.
• Create and execute strategic account plans to grow market share and pipeline.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
• Position Johnson Controls as a trusted advisor through presentations and industry insights.
• Drive early project engagement to maximize opportunities for Fire & Security solutions.
• Collaborate with regional Data Center teams, local sales teams, engineering, operations, and project delivery teams.
• Manage opportunities, account plans, and interactions in Salesforce, Altify, and CRM.
• Support pre-bid, bid, and post-bid activities throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform strategy.
• Promote adoption of Fire & Security, Building Tech, Energy Management, and Digital Services portfolios.
