Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to drive growth across the Benelux region by developing relationships with key data center stakeholders and leveraging the full Fire & Security portfolio.

You will influence major projects, position JCI as a trusted advisor, and collaborate with regional and delivery teams to ensure outcomes. You will manage opportunities, create strategic plans, and engage with consultants, contractors, hyperscalers, and colocation operators to expand

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven success in technical, solution-based or consultative B2B sales.
• Track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets with complex relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence at multiple levels.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently within a matrix org.
• Fluent Dutch and English are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with stakeholders (consultants, contractors, hyperscalers, colocation operators, end users).
• Create and execute strategic account plans to increase market share and pipeline.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
• Position Johnson Controls as a trusted advisor with presentations, insights, and solutions.
• Drive early project engagement to maximize opportunities for Fire & Security solutions.
• Collaborate with regional, sales, engineering, and delivery teams for project success.
• Manage opportunities and accounts using Salesforce, Altify, and other tools.
• Support pre-bid, bid and post-bid activities to strengthen engagement.
