Minor Hotels Europe & Americas, nhow Amsterdam Selva rooftop restaurant, seeks a Chef de Partie. You will oversee a kitchen section, crafting Latin American dishes on a charcoal grill while coordinating with a diverse team in an open-kitchen setting.

You will contribute to a vibrant, international environment on the 24th floor, delivering memorable experiences through creative menus and high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Chef de Partie or independently working chef.
• Experience working in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Experience with Latin American cuisine and charcoal grilling is an advantage.
• Experience guiding junior kitchen personnel.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Open-minded attitude in an open kitchen with an international team.
• Good level of verbal and written English.
• Culinary school diploma is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute menus in collaboration with colleagues.
• Ensure adequacy of supplies and place orders in a timely manner.
• Manage ingredients for daily use and availability.
• Follow directions of the kitchen chef and sous chef.
• Develop the junior kitchen team and mentor peers.
• Suggest new dish presentations and maintain productivity.
• Uphold health, safety and hygiene standards.
