Generator Amsterdam in Amsterdam is seeking an exceptional Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team. You will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth foodservice operations while creating high quality dishes that meet guest expectations and brand standards.

You’ll train and manage junior staff, monitor portions, help develop new menu ideas, stay current with local trends and uphold hygiene and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food industry in a similar role.
• Passion for food and service, with knowledge of current trends.
• Ability to train and supervise junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef/Sous Chef to ensure smooth foodservice operations.
• Create high quality dishes meeting guest expectations and brand standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and provide service accordingly.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes within your speciality.
• Manage and train commis; monitor portions and waste for profitability.
• Contribute to menu creativity and locally inspired offerings.
• Uphold stringent hygiene, health and safety standards.
