Job summary

Indian by Nature in Amsterdam is seeking an Independent Working Chef - I to join our authentic Indian kitchen. You will independently prepare lunch and dinner, perform mise en place, and ensure consistent taste, presentation, and safety in line with HACCP standards.

You should be able to manage inventory, support recipe ideas, supervise assistants, and work well under pressure within a vibrant restaurant team.

• Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, and checking products
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces
• Contribute ideas for recipes, menu updates, and more efficient processes
• Supervising compliance with regulations and the work of the assistants.

• Functions well within the dynamics of a restaurant team
• Speaks Dutch or English
• Is enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to learn
