Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a driven Director/Sr Director of Business Development to expand our biotech client base in Europe and manage enterprise-wide deals across the IQVIA clinical portfolio.

The role requires a proven track record in clinical sales within CRO/biotech environments, with strong relationship skills, strategic account planning, and the ability to engage C‑Suite and senior executives. EU-wide coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of CRO/pharma/biotech experience.
• 8+ years as BD Associate/Director in a CRO.
• Understanding of clinical process (PH I–IV).
• Biotech market knowledge in Europe.
• Established network in European biotech.
• Based anywhere in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and account management across European biotech clients.
• Manage relationships at C-suite and senior levels.
• Develop account strategy and competitive intelligence.
• Close large deals leveraging integrated IQVIA portfolio.
