Job summary

Ofichem is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive regional and global growth across drug substance and API opportunities. You will identify opportunities, open doors and convert technical discussions into profitable new business, working with senior decision-makers across pharma and biotech.

The role covers R&D/CDMO projects and commercial APIs across Ter Apel, Uppsala, and New York networks, with travel up to 40% and a hybrid/remote-friendly setup within Europe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in business development or technical sales in GMP/CDMO/pharma.
• Proven track record of winning new business (>€10M) and delivering value.
• Strong ability to convert complex discussions into profitable opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own global pipeline from prospecting to contract signature (EMEA, USA, LATAM, APAC).
• Develop regional go-to-market plans with measurable growth targets.
• Engage senior stakeholders and translate challenges into credible development, manufacturing and API solutions.
• Lead proposals, quotations, pricing and contract negotiations independently.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory and Finance on proposals and handovers.
• Represent Ofichem at customer meetings, conferences and events.
