Anton Paar Netherlands is seeking an Area Product Manager for Thermal Analysis to shape market success of our measurement portfolio. You will work closely with customers, sales teams and international product specialists to identify opportunities and deliver customer-centric solutions.

Based in the Netherlands, you will travel across industries, manage key accounts, translate process requirements into tailored solutions, and lead sales negotiations with a focus on quality and growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry or physics or related discipline.
• Minimum two years’ track record in analytical instrumentation sales.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Management of existing customers and generation of new accounts through prospecting, lead generation and follow up in different industries
• Market development
• Effective territory management in a broad base of industries and applications.
• Translate customer process requirements into tailored measurement solutions
• Direct responsibility for sales negotiations and handling of sales projects.
• Support the development of customer applications.
• Participation at conferences and exhibitions.
• Support the development of marketing communications with customers.
• Visiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations, installations and train customers on the correct use of their equipment.
  

Qualifications

Your profile

• Suitable candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, physics or related discipline.
• At least two years of experience of successfully selling Analytical Instrumentation. Comparable instrument sales experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Project managers, plant managers and technicians.
• Team player
• Availability to travel throughout Netherlands and occasionally to our Headquarters in Austria for training and business meetings.
• Located in the middle of the Netherlands within easy access to main road network.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) is required; additional language skills are a plus.
