Job summary

NYX Hotel Amsterdam is seeking a Front Office & Housekeeping Manager to lead two dynamic teams and ensure a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure. You will act as a city expert, sharing Amsterdam’s best-kept secrets and building partnerships with museums, restaurants, and cultural hotspots to enrich guest experiences.

You will craft memorable guest journeys, uphold top cleanliness standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a bold, warm NYX experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in Front Office, Guest Relations, or Housekeeping, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong advantage; additional languages welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front Office & Housekeeping Teams – manage two dynamic teams and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• City Expert – share Amsterdam insights with guests and inspire the team with local discoveries.
• Create Memorable Guest Journeys – personalize recommendations and craft unique NYX Moments.
• Quality & Cleanliness Champion – uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas.
• Partner with Local Gems – build relationships with museums, restaurants, and cultural hotspots for exclusive guest experiences.
• Oversee daily operations – check-in/out, guest communications, room readiness, housekeeping planning and service delivery.
• Brand Ambassador – reflect NYX personality: bold, creative, spirited, and warm.
• Guest Feedback & Continuous Improvement – monitor satisfaction and translate insights into improvements.
