Job summary

Salesforce, Amsterdam-based, is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments. You’ll work with a Deployment Strategist to deliver real code with measurable business impact across multiple accounts.

You’ll ship end-to-end components, craft prompts and integrations, and partner with customers to translate challenges into deployable AI solutions while travelling up to 25% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system you'd be proud to walk us through.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with customer-facing technical delivery (consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering).
• Fluency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, and willingness to expand.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering, able to explain failures and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and experiences that are in production for enterprise customers.
• Design agent intelligence: prompts, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own technical components end-to-end from architecture to deployed and observable in production.
• Build and maintain data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and other customer data platforms.
• Maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs that move from sketch to deployable rapidly.
• Collaborate with customers and partners, sharing best practices and enabling teams to be more capable after each engagement.
