Job summary

Salesforce Amsterdam is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise customer environments. You’ll work with a Deployment Strategist to co-build solutions that go live in production from day one.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with customer-facing delivery (consulting or professional services).
• Fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex; open to expanding the stack.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering; able to explain prompts and improvements.
• Strong data modeling, APIs, and integration pattern understanding.
• Able to collaborate with sales teams and customer architects; shipping quality code.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and experiences that take real actions for real organisations; production deployments.
• Own components end-to-end from architecture to deployed and observable in production.
• Build data pipelines with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
• Create agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting to track deployment health.
• Co-build with customers and partners; share best practices and enablement.
• Surface platform gaps and field insights to senior engineers and product teams.
