Restaurant Shabu to go Amersfoort is seeking an Independent Working Chef Level I to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will assist in preparing dishes, work closely with the team, and take responsibility for a clean, organized workspace.

We offer a professional environment with onboarding guidance, opportunities for kitchen development, flexible hours, and full-time 38 hours per week. Gross salary is €2,750 to €3,250.

Qualifications

• MBO-3 level in culinary arts.

Responsibilities

• Selecting and preparing ingredients and dishes.
• Conducting intermediate checks and adjustments.

• Tracking stock levels and ordering ingredients.
• Daily cleaning of the work environment and equipment.
• Reporting faults and resolving minor issues.
• Providing input on menus and method adjustments.

Job description

We are Restaurant Shabu to go Amersfoort, looking for multiple passionate Independent Working Chef Level I to strengthen our kitchen team. Do you have a passion for cooking and do you enjoy a dynamic kitchen environment? Then you are a perfect fit for us! You will assist in preparing dishes and work closely with our kitchen team. You can work both independently and as part of a team, and you feel responsible for a clean and organized kitchen. Our restaurant is located at Wiekenweg 8, 3815KL Amersfoort.

Your Responsibilities:

• Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)
• Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
• Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
• Supervising the work of kitchen assistants and making corrections where necessary.
• Keeping track of stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.
• Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.
• Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
• Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments of menus, the menu list, and working methods
