HORECA Sales Pro: Premium Snacks & Ingredients (Travel)
Job summary
A premium snacks company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Rep to expand its presence in HORECA and Food Service channels. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in food products, and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English and additional languages is a plus. This role involves developing sales strategies, building customer relationships, and ensuring effective product visibility. Travel within Malaysia and overseas is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in food products for HORECA/Food Service.
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or a Chinese dialect).
- Own transportation and willingness to travel nationwide and overseas.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow brand and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and onboard new distribution or HORECA/Food Service operators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
- Ensure strong product visibility and effective merchandising in outlets.
- Plan and execute promotion events and activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
- Manage stock levels to ensure product availability.
- Handle credit collection and related matters.
