In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead multiple Measurement Systems Projects (local Malaysia and within the Asia Pacific) to meet customer specifications, project timelines, financial goals, and quality standards.
- Ensure achievement of the minimum As Bid Gross Profit (GP) forecasted for the respective projects.
- Act as the point of contact among the customer, supplier, and internal Emerson collaborators.
- Ensure timely resolution and proactive management of project-related issues to prevent any adverse impact on overall project deliverables.
- Ensure successful delivery of the project to the customer/client and Emerson leadership expectations.
- Plan and coordinate project purchases from a cost, quality, and schedule perspective.
- Work with the Supply Chain organization to ensure competitive purchases that meet or exceed the overall As Bid project GP.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks likely to affect the respective projects.
- Implement good project management standards and practices at all times, including material procurement, project implementation, and successful commissioning and close-out, ensuring compliance with Measurement Solutions PMO processes.
- Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, and release payments based on the actual completion of subcontractor's scope of work.
- Identify and resolve design changes across the entire project and negotiate change orders with customers and suppliers.
- Implement timely and accurate cost tracking mechanisms for project costs.
- Report on project performance and forecasts to Emerson leadership and customers.
- Complete and close out projects on time, resolving any open items per contractual requirements.
- Focus on understanding customer needs and solving customer problems to enhance satisfaction.
- Continuously improve existing project management practices and processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Control, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience in process control industry and project management, with at least 5 years managing projects.
