Job summary
A global automation leader is seeking a Sales Engineer in Malaysia to establish and expand the customer network for various industrial products. This role involves managing key accounts, driving revenue, and developing new business opportunities. Candidates must possess a Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous. This position supports remote work and includes project management responsibilities.

- Establish and expand the customer network for Industrial Sensors, Power Supplies, Cables, Transducers, RFID, Vision Cameras and Networks etc.
- Acquire new customers in the Semi con, Life Science, Automation/Robotics, F&B, Metal Working and Packaging industry etc.
- Manage and grow Key Accounts
- Responsible for major customers, drive revenue and profit
- Evaluate customer requests and propose appropriate solutions
- Identify new opportunities, drive new business development and work out solutions for the customer with the technical support team
- Drive & conduct Roadshow/Product Seminar/Technology Day regularly & Project management
- Update customers with new products launch
- Promote and Market products and solutions
- Ensure existing customers satisfaction, reorder and customer retention
- Versatile in utilizing CRM (preferably C4C - SAP Cloud for customer) and SAP system
- Candidate must possess at least a minimum of Diploma/Degree in Electrical/ Electronics & Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant certifications
- Minimum 3 year of working experience in the automation or relevant industry.
- Achieve annual sales targets and actively develop new business opportunities
- Identify and acquire new leads, driving business development initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Plan customer visits and submit a weekly visit plan
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is an added advantage based on business requirement
- Need to deal with stakeholders and customers that will be speaking in Mandarin
