Job summary
A leading water solutions company is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee water infrastructure projects in Johor, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in engineering and have 2-4 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include project planning, site supervision, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Travel and on-site work are required, making this an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years experience in water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, and sludge handling processes.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, design reviews, and preparations of technical documentation.
- Monitor site progress, coordinate contractors, and supervise mechanical and piping works.
- Ensure installation, testing, and commissioning of treatment system are carried out according to schedule.
- Resolve technical issues during implementation and liaise with consultants or clients as needed.
- Prepare site progress reports and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
