Overview
To provide medical consultation, treatment and emergency care to employees at the sickbay during locum sessions, while ensuring professional standards and ethical medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical consultation, diagnosis and treatment for employees at the sickbay during locum sessions.
- Manage and respond to emergency and accident cases, including initial stabilization and referral if required.
- Administer appropriate medical treatment and follow-up care for common illnesses and injuries.
- Monitor and report any notifiable diseases identified during consultation.
- Ensure proper documentation of medical records and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Provide professional feedback and other related matters if needed.
- Adhere to medical ethics, safety standards and company policies while on duty.
- Any related task given by Superior/Company.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good human relation skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good time management.
- Excellent in Microsoft Office application.
- Able to communicate with all levels of people.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Ability to obtain accurate patient history, chart and documentation.
Physical Characteristics
- Demonstrates professionalism and discipline at all times.
Education
- Must possess a recognized Medical Degree (MD) or MBBS Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
- Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Valid MRO Licence
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years working experience.
- Preferably with experience in primary care / occupational health / emergency medicine.
